The Wicked Wedding
A little late, but I thought I would share a few pics from the “Wicked Wedding” we photographed on Oct.31 (Halloween) this past fall. I have never seen such a cool set up!! The amount of work and planning that went into this party is unbelievable. With professional make up, amazing props and some cool lighting, we were able to create some really unique shots. We had an awesome time with Jeff (Frankenstein), Kelly (The Bride of Frankenstein), Megan (The Beautiful Princess) and Liam (Lord Lucifer, Prince of Darkness). This was all a pre-wedding party, with guests dressing up as well and even a mock Wedding Ceremony. Jeff and Kelly were officially married Nov.11, 2009 (11.11.2009) on Mayan Island, Mexico. Congrats Jeff and Kelly… your a “Wicked Couple!”
Baby Hayden
What a beautiful little boy! Cara and I had a great time photographing baby Hayden. Watching Helen and Steve’s expressions throughout the photo session explained how much this little guy is loved! I can’t wait until we have a little one of our own…. some day! Helen and Steve were awesome! They let us tear apart their living room and had some really cool ideas for photos. I love the look of natural light, so I went ahead and used only the soft light coming from a large window and a reflector to help fill in some of the shadows.

The Luksys Family Photo Session – Nov.9, 2009
Cara and I had an awesome time photographing Mel, Greg, Ethan and Gavin. The boys are so cute and they made us laugh throughout the photo session. At one point, Cara did her rendition of the chicken dance for Greg and Mel and played peek a boo with Ethan. What would I do without you sweetheart?
I was really hoping for more sun during the photo session, but Mother Nature doesn’t always deliver what I’ve ordered. With a few modifications to my lighting set up, we were off to the races…. literally…. Mel raced Ethan up a hill. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get Mel to roll back down with Ethan.
After lots of giggles, smiles and even a tractor ride, it was time to pack up for the day. We look forward to future photo sessions with the Luksys family.
